Remastered Hunter never sat right with me. It was a little more believable that the original PS1 Hunter would be the kind of cat that would withold orbs from you, that they already had (which would be used to save the worlds), just because they wanted to play a game.

I agree completely. The amount of people wishing for a certain different outcome around this incident is depressing to me.
That’s not what that implies. I’ve seen that argument from religious people describing how atheists must be unruly because they have no incentive to meet a good afterlife.
