What a strange thing to announce. Everything Israel says is a lie, but even still, so what if Hezbollah does store it there? I don’t understand why anyone is supposed to care how or where Hezbollah might store cash & gold on their own lands.

Okay, stay confidently incorrect in the Five Eyes corporate media bubble then 👍
These kinds of news articles are an example of how universities are being increasingly pressured by state actors to be more critical of China.
High numbers of Chinese students at Australian universities have created an environment of self-censorship with lecturers avoiding criticism of Beijing and Chinese students staying silent in fear of harassment, Human Rights Watch said.
Human Rights Watch’s core mission is to publish negative propaganda about states that the US wants to have regime changed. The purpose of this article is to put pressure on universities to get in line with the new cold war.

This is wrong on so many levels 😂 If you’re this propagandized, then I’m sure you don’t know what actually happened in and around Tiananmen Square, which by the way is not even censored in China like we’re always told.
That West Asia has been an especially violent place for centuries because of religion in general and Islam in particular, ignoring the predominant reason in modern history: Western imperialism. Also, Europe was the cause countless imperialist invasions & subjugations and both world wars, so it’s not even true that West Asia is more violent. Really it’s just Western chauvinism rebranded for the War on Terror. The articles I linked to can it explain much better than I can.
What? Why would the Australian state stop academics from criticizing China when it’s busy manufacturing consent for war with China? I’m sure it’s very much encouraging academia to criticize China.
I suspect he genuinely is a new atheist who genuinely holds those biases & ignorances and is genuinely asking.
Wait, now I’m a Russian pretending to be an American? This tale gets taller every time you tell it 😂
He has some older account where there was Russian being used but I think he may have deleted it or I just can’t be arsed to look enough rn.
Why would you go back to a two week old post just to be completely wrong about everything? 😂
When people say authoritarianism it is reliably synonymous with totalitarianism as defined by Hannah Arendt, which is basically horseshoe theory, where fascism and communism are equivalated.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Authoritarianism#Examples
There is no one consensus definition of authoritarianism, but several annual measurements are attempted, including Freedom House’s annual Freedom in the World report. Some countries such as Venezuela, among others, that are currently or historically recognized as authoritarian did not become authoritarian upon taking power or fluctuated between an authoritarian, flawed democracy, and hybrid regime due to periods of democratic backsliding or democratization. Nazi Germany and Stalinist Russia are often regarded as the most infamous examples of “totalitarian” systems. Some countries such as China and various fascist regimes have also been characterized as totalitarian, with some periods being depicted as more authoritarian, or totalitarian, than others.
Hannah Arendt came from a wealthy family and was unsurprisingly anti-communist. Her work was financially supported and promoted by the CIA. The CIA and the Cultural Cold War Revisited
U.S. and European anticommunist publications receiving direct or indirect funding included Partisan Review, Kenyon Review, New Leader, Encounter and many others. Among the intellectuals who were funded and promoted by the CIA were Irving Kristol, Melvin Lasky, Isaiah Berlin, Stephen Spender, Sidney Hook, Daniel Bell, Dwight MacDonald, Robert Lowell, Hannah Arendt, Mary McCarthy, and numerous others in the United States and Europe. In Europe, the CIA was particularly interested in and promoted the “Democratic Left” and ex-leftists, including Ignacio Silone, Stephen Spender, Arthur Koestler, Raymond Aron, Anthony Crosland, Michael Josselson, and George Orwell.
The authoritarian states are whichever states the Council on Foreign Relations deems authoritarian this month. It just means “governments that Global North capitalists want regime changed,” and that’s usually because the authoritarian government is blocking their access to neocolonial profit-making.
“monogamist ally”!? Does the person who said that have NO IDEA who this is?
The person who said it was Danskin himself, who last time I heard claims to be polyamorous, so I have no idea what you’re trying to say. All those screenshots are from InnunendoStudio’s/Ian’s own Twitter account.
It didn’t take long for you to prove their point for them, did it?
They only need to keep the “good” war going for two more weeks, to distract from the “it’s complicated” war.
Moldy meme is moldy. Early propaganda of Russia being a “gas station with nukes” has aged about as well as the Ghost of Kyiv.
Marx was a very adroit writer, and not above dry sarcasm.

Shadow of the Colossus was linear, but I don’t recall anyone complaining.
