KDEs vision is letting users have the experience they want. You can have a vision without limiting configurability and cramming bad UX down the pipe to your users.
I just don’t communicate with anyone that insists on using products that have user agreements I don’t agree with. The amount of bullshit user agreements are getting overloaded with makes them dangerous legal contracts that can have serious implications on your rights. Just ask the family whose daughter died at a Disney theme park and when they tried to sue Disney tried to force them to arbitration because their son had tried Disney+
I used Gnome Shell 3 for 4 years before giving up on it and going to KDE.
The huge differentiator is that KDE may look like windows OOTB on most distros, but if you want you can easily make it look like Gnome, Mac, Unity… whatever. The panels and menus are infinitely configurable.
And that is why this meme is dead on the money. I’ve come to hate dev teams that have “visions” that they cram down users throats regardless of the experience. And the irony is that Gnome 2 used to be much more configurable than older KDE versions.

As @[email protected] brought up in his comment, the FODMAP umbrella is huge and everyone is a bit different. Its a process of removing them all and then adding things back slowly and carefully, trying them multiple times to see and test your tolerances. Also, white onion and the white parts of green onions and leeks are bad, but the green parts are ok and much lower in fodmap, so you can get onion flavour other ways. Green pepper is another one that can be combined to give this flavour with a lower fodmap footprint.
Yep. I found I could handle the little bit of blackened onion required for making Pho broth, but a traditional french mire poix 50/25/25 mix of onion/celery/carrot is far too much and we needed to get creative with green onion and leek in place of white onion and celery. Generally we use asian broths and soups more now. I cannot have my favoured sauteed mushrooms anymore but some mushroom based umami bomb in a soup or on a piece of meat is ok in small doses, and I can handle some tomato sauce once or twice a month, but not with onion in it, and no more pizza.
Unless you are celiac, its likely FODMAPs your body hates. There is a correllation between the amount of gluten and FODMAPs in food that makes watching gluten get part of the picture, but you’re missing the whole picture and thus likely not completely regular yet. FODMAPs are in most things. Onions are concentrated FODMAPs and so is tomato sauce.

I have to admit. Onions, garlic and mushrooms were haaaaard to remove. Ive turned to Miso and a lot of japanese and thai food with the onions removed from any recipes to get this right.

My definition is what I heard growing up, admittedly this is one of those things I never bothered to read about.

In my experience, the same fake albums show up on Deezer as Spotify. Frankly, I think the best way is Bandcamp. For for an album, download it forever. Stop paying to listen to the same music over and over and get DRM free tracks you can listen to your way while giving the money to the artists selling their albums directly.
