AskLemmy for me. I like occasionally answering questions and there isn’t enough posts on either for me.
The reason my memory seems to be fuzzy at times, even for some things that happened recently, comes down to the fact that I was put under for surgery back in 2011 and was under for longer than they expected due to finding something they didn’t expect.
From someone who went from graduating late 2010s clicking on a download link on yt in 2018 to where I am now, can’t say for everyone, but I know I used to be somewhat similar to the first one (minus any mentions on social media). Now I do either torrents or if I DDL, make sure to go to sites on the megathread to lessen the chances of accidentally getting a bad file/torrent.
Depends on the site. Ads don’t bother me because ad block. I support paywalls in the case of sign up for some services, like InsaneJournal. Though, I otherwise have no preference either way since I usually don’t go places with paywalls and when I do, I usually find a way to bypass them.
I presume they do it for the people who don’t binge watch or who end up dropping a show for a while, only to come back and not remember what happened last episode.
I personally enjoy them considering there are times I watch shows with breaks of weeks in-between episodes and need it. Saves time.
Depending on what it is, TV series. Specifically animated. The exception to the rule would be anime currently running. I was severely disappointed by the Boruto movie being a collection of episodes from the anime, once I figured it out.
Color: red
Gender of pusher: undetermined
Looks of pusher: detached skinny white arm/hand
Size: roughly palm sized (full grown adult)
Table: wood, circular. Changed to black void with half pipe like pinball track upon being rolled.
After a quick visualization, that’s what I got. Seeing the questions didn’t change my answers
Edit: ball moved along the track for a moment before I stopped thinking about it, mostly since that train of thought made my brain switch to Sonic Spinball.
Whenever the Amish are mentioned, I know we’re hitching up the buggy, churning lot of butter, raise a barn Monday, soon raising another.
I need another pet rock
For me it’s usually letting anyone else put dishes away. Before that, the ¼, ½, ⅓, and 1 cup measure set but I fixed it by putting them upside down.
As far as I’m aware, there are no ways implemented. Got no idea because I’m not smart enough for this type of thing. The only solution I could think of is to implement a paywall (I know, disgusting) to raise the barrier to entry to try and keep bots out. That, and I don’t know if it’s currently possible, but making it so only people on your instance can comment, vote, and report posts on an instance.
I personally feel that depending on the price of joining, that could slightly lessen the bot problem for that specific instance since getting banned means you wasted money instead of just time. Though, it might also alienate it from growing as well.
Cannot wait to see their solution.
Brok The Investigator. There are multiple endings, but each different ending has a linear enough progression, even if the first time you have no clue as to what ending you’ll get. The only thing you need to do for different endings is making different choices.
Simple enough game set in a world where the poor, slummers, live in the polluted, rundown slums while the rich, drummers, live under the high quality dome. You play as a crocodile (alligator?) who is a detective, a slummer named Brok who lives with his teenage cat son Graff. Not saying much more because spoilers, even though the drummer and slummer and the polluted world thing are kinda minor spoilers despite learning about them real quick in chapter 1.
The occasional puzzles aren’t too hard to figure out, at least I thought so for all but one. And if you don’t like the combat mode, I’m pretty sure there is a way to turn it off, though I’m not sure how it affects gameplay/choices. Though, the upcoming DLC (whenever it releases) doesn’t look like it’s gonna be linear since it’s all about the games combat system and adding bonus challenges to fights. So I’d probably avoid that if you aren’t playing the game for the combat.
If nothing else, I might look into something like that.
I would add a small partition, but I’m always anxious about stuff like that because I seemingly always hear things about windows messing with Linux partitions and breaking dual boot. That, and I am running out of space on my 1TB drive it came with. Two or three years of me using it thinking that I’ll never fill it up before I upgrade computers and suddenly I have to worry.
If we’re talking about the library at the college I go to, besides the wireless hotspots for students that need it, probably all the foreign language DVDs and DVD player (most likely portable)if you don’t have one.
Probably gonna keep my desktop running win10 by then because I’ll hopefully have a new desktop by then that I can easily set up Linux on. Got too much on my desktop to move over and I certainly don’t know any tools able to make the process any easier.
Probably gonna just use it as an experimental PC that I can test out server related things on.
Metronome. The chaos of not knowing what attack is gonna happen is great.
It’s why for a fan game I’m still in the planning phases of I plan on having a better version of metronome (name still undecided) that adds all attacking moves, but removes OHKO moves like sheer cold and removes all non-attacking moves. I have plans on making a special option in the intro to make every single pokemon only know this 30PP move.
Not super common but commen enough and just for a snack, but I like using tortillas if there’s no bread in my apartment. I use them for things like peanut butter and mayonnaise wraps and peanut butter and butter wraps.
I also sometimes use tortillas for leftovers in general, depending on the leftovers from the night before. Last time there was leftover homemade mac and cheese and catfish, I heated them and had that wrapped in a plain tortilla with nothing else for breakfast.
