I am going to do what I did to my old cat.
First I’m going to pet him with both hands. Just rubbing him all over. Then my friend will join in. So now thats 4 hands. Just giving him all the attention. Then another friend, and another, and another! After a while we had 12 people all petting my cat. 24 hands, and we were all giving verbal attention at first too.
“Awwww, speeed!!! Pretty kitty!!!”
“Look at speed!!! Getting a rubdown!!!”
“Speed so soft! Speed so soft!!!”
That sort of thing. Eventually it was like overload for her. She CONSTANTLY begged for attention, and pets, even if you were just petting her 3 seconds ago. But 24 hands at once, and she eventually got a confused look on her face, and ran away.
Only time I ever see her say “ENOUGH! NO MORE PETS!”
This would be a great solution if I had 12 friends.
Usually I’ll just kick him out of my room lol. Your friends sound great.
